Our client, a venture capital-backed leader in healthcare innovation, is hiring a Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing their AI-powered platform, utilizing cutting-edge techniques in Generative AI, reinforcement learning and deep learning to drive improved health outcomes.
Responsibilities
As the AI/ML Engineer, you will design and optimize AI-driven systems to deliver value to members, partners and the business.
You will analyze member behavior and sentiment to enhance metabolic health outcomes.
Develop and fine-tune ML models that promote behavior change for members managing diabetes, weight loss and other metabolic health conditions.
Apply reinforcement learning (RLHF) and other methods to improve personalized recommendations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless AI experiences for both members and clinical teams, ensuring measurable impact.
Skillset
PhD or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics or similar.
At least five years of professional experience in AI and Machine Learning, particularly in production settings.
Expertise in developing, deploying and optimizing ML models with techniques like RLHF, Deep Learning neural networks and anomaly detection.
Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, Prompt Engineering and Sentiment Analysis.
Strong Python skills and experience with large dataset analysis using tools such as SQL, Snowflake etc.
