Position: AI/ML Engineer

Navaide is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to support a mix of applied machine learning delivery and internal systems development within a secure, mission-aligned environment. This is a technical contributor role with a strong growth trajectory toward systems leadership.

We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of modeling, infrastructure, and workflow automation. You'll work on real-world datasets, contribute to the evolution of our internal ML pipelines, and mentor emerging engineers as we scale our capability from early-stage delivery into reusable platform components.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Support and extend applied ML models for time-series forecasting, classification, and predictive analytics
• Clean, transform, and ingest structured/unstructured data from diverse operational systems
• Contribute to internal model management and ML Ops stack development (versioning, retraining, validation)
• Work closely with DevSecOps to containerize, monitor, and harden pipelines in IL-compliant environments
• Prototype modular components that will form the backbone of our reusable toolsets
• Collaborate with senior engineers and capability leads to scale proofs-of-concept into client-ready frameworks
• Guide junior engineers and interns on project-based mentorship and structured learning paths

Relevant Skills & Experience:

• Technical generalist with strength in Python and applied ML (regression, classification, basic NLP or CV)
• Experience working with Jupyter, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar open-source frameworks
• Familiarity with containerized environments, Git workflows, and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab, MLflow, Azure DevOps)
• Interest or experience in working within secure cloud or compliance-aligned environments (Azure, AWS GovCloud, IL4/IL5, etc.)
• TS/SCI or active clearance strongly preferred (or ability to be cleared)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across mixed-discipline teams
