The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Office of Catholic Education, seeks a dynamic, innovative, results-driven leader for Assistant Principal for Student Life for Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. The position awaits the energetic, visionary and collaborative leader who demonstrates a strong commitment to Catholic education, exceptional leadership skills, and positive experience leading a high performing school.
Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess the skills and ability to provide the leadership necessary to guide a student-centered experience for young women guided by our Gospel values, in the spirit of the charism of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. This candidate will guide a student-centered approach to the development of the whole child in order to fulfill our mission of directing a young woman's growth to be “faith-filled, college and career ready and independent”. This candidate would provide leadership in the area of student co and extracurricular programming, aligned with mission and curriculum, and would also guide necessary safety infrastructure that monitors student attendance, discipline, counseling services, health and transportation. Along with other members of the school’s administrative team, this instructional leader will work develop faculty and staff, design policies and procedures, use data to drive continuous school improvement, drive student program innovation that compliments the academic program and engage the broader community in marketing and recruitment efforts by showcasing the broad spectrum of student opportunities at Little Flower.
Duties:
Determine, in consultation with the Administrative Team, policies and guidelines for student expectations and school culture, including:
e.g. Baccalaureate, graduation, proms, dances, etc. as well as supervising budgets for all activities to provide to moderators. Assume responsibilities delegated by the Principal or President
Qualifications:
Applicants to be practicing Catholics as verified by the pastor of the parish in which they are registered.
