Job Title: Remote Bookkeeper

Location: 100% Remote (Latin America and The Philippines)

Salary Range: $1,800 - $2,500 USD/month based on Experience

The company is a wholesale and retail plant operation that is currently transitioning to digital operations. As part of this growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Remote Bookkeeper to join our team.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a bookkeeper for our small business to handle standard bookkeeping tasks. Our ERP runs on Odoo , and our accounting currently operates on QuickBooks Online . This setup may transition entirely to Odoo, or we may integrate QuickBooks as a plugin within Odoo. Your role will be essential in managing our financial operations as we replace our current on-site bookkeeper who is transitioning to part-time.

This is a full-time position requiring 30–40 hours per week, where you’ll help clean up, optimize, and maintain our books while supporting the final stages of our transition to fully digital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (and potentially Odoo ERP).

• Handle 150-200k USD worth of monthly transactions across wholesale, retail, and Shopify sales channels.

• Review and, if necessary, restructure account registers and chart of accounts.

• Assist in transitioning remaining paper-based processes to digital workflows.

• Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations.

• Collaborate with our team to align financial practices with our business goals and growth plans.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online , with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.

• Familiarity with Odoo ERP or similar systems is a strong advantage.

• Experience in bookkeeping for businesses with wholesale, retail, and eCommerce operations.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to optimize and streamline financial processes.

• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work during U.S. business hours (time zone alignment with Latin America is essential).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with ERP and accounting system migrations (e.g., from QuickBooks to Odoo).

• Background in high-transaction-volume environments.

• Familiarity with Shopify integrations for financial reporting.
