Plan and create long term supply and demand forecasts for AppleCare product components and whole units. Work closely with Global Commodity Management, Engineering, Planning and Procurement, and Worldwide Materials teams to provide comprehensive Lifetime Supply/Demand analysis to ensure availability of service materials. Manage the last-time buy planning function within the demand planning organization to ensure that the service parts are available in the right quantity for Apple customers. Responsible for continued development of processes including gathering consensus with cross-functional teams on the last time buy proposal and securing the approval from leadership and tools including Oracle, Snowflake database, Tableau, MS Excel, SAP, and Apple internal tools in support of creating more accurate forecasts, better tracking of material consumption and supply/demand oversight. Perform sensitivity analyses to assess material excess or shortage risks. Escalate global planning issues to senior management, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions. Reduce the last-time buy cost by identifying alternate parts and/or excess inventory in the supply chain. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,128 - $201,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Learn more about Apple Benefits: Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program. **Minimum Qualifications** + Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. + 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: + Performing EOL buy analysis, including modelling the interdependencies between vendors and manufacturers + Utilizing Oracle to develop long-term sourcing reports and forecasting + Generating component forecasts by using bill of material, cost, inventory, and service parts demand data + Utilizing Excel for data and statistical analysis to make forecasting recommendations + Supporting project management and process improvement for supply and sourcing initiatives + Running cross-functional meetings to drive consensus among business teams + Building Tableau dashboards to show SKU level demand/supply data and projecting shortage/excess + Identify supply risks by performing scenario and sensitivity analysis in last time buy proposals + Presenting last time buy proposals to leadership + Drive requirement gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT) for supply chain automation **Preferred Qualifications** + N/A Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
