Position Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual Butcher with direct experience in large-scale meat processing operations (e.g., Tyson Foods, JBS, Smithfield).
This is not a retail/grocery butcher role - the position involves industrial-level meat processing , supervising production teams, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a high-volume food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cut, trim, and portion meats per industrial specifications
Supervise, train, and support butchering staff
Operate and maintain industrial processing equipment
Monitor inventory and coordinate supply needs
Enforce food safety and sanitation standards
Inspect products for freshness, quality, and compliance
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (formal meat processing training preferred)
Prior experience in large-scale meat processing facilities (Tyson, Smithfield, JBS, etc.)
Proven supervisory experience in meat production
Strong knife-handling, safety, and quality assurance skills
Physically able to lift heavy products and stand for long periods
Flexible schedule early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required
