Job Description:
ExpertCare is Hiring! We are seeking a dependable, understanding, and patient caregiver to work with a 15-year-old male in Rochester Hills diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting adolescents with behavioral and emotional regulation needs and will be able to create a calm, structured, and respectful environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and guidance in the home and community as needed
Support the teen with daily routines, organization, and emotional regulation
Assist with social skills development and help manage frustration or mood shifts
Engage in structured activities that promote focus and positive behavior
Communicate with parents/caregivers about daily progress and concerns
Follow a consistent care plan and apply strategies from paid training sessions
Qualifications:
Experience working with adolescents, especially those with ADHD or mood disorders, preferred
Must be calm, reliable, and proactive in managing challenging behaviors
Willing to complete paid training in trauma-informed and behavior support practices
Must pass a background check
Schedule: Part-time, with consistent weekly hours preferred. Flexible scheduling options available.
