Chief Research & Development Scientist

This is a  founding-level scientific command role focused on developing breakthrough technologies that push the boundaries of what’s possible—across AI, simulation, cryptography, entropy, and future-facing infrastructure.

As  Chief R&D Scientist , you are the guardian of invention and the architect of possibility. Your mission is to imagine and realize the next layer of human-machine synergy through radically original code, methods, and systems.

Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week. If that isn’t sustainable, this isn’t your lab.

This is an equity partner role. That means:

• No upfront cash compensation
• Equity (shares) at founding partner level (vesting standard)
• Future token-based rewards (pending legal review)
• Salary activates with revenue-based milestones
• Remote-first, async-native, velocity-driven execution model

You will  define our research frontier—across logic, data, simulation, and post-blockchain security.
You will  build from zero: languages, frameworks, entropy models, and cognition engines.
You will  lead a future-defining team of scientific and algorithmic pioneers.

Overview

We are recruiting a  Chief Research & Development Scientist to lead the  R&D team at Anime Universe.

You will be responsible for architecting the systems, theories, and frameworks behind:

• Post-blockchain, high-entropy infrastructure
• Proprietary protocols for secure communication and dynamic consensus
• Custom file standard for ultra-secure data expression
• Our native meta-language for simulation and AI
• High-complexity authentication + resistance systems
• Dynamic, self-evolving logic engines

What You’ll Own

• Define and evolve Anime Universe’s R&D vision, protocols, and research priorities
• Build foundational IP in proprietary computation, consensus, cryptography, and symbolic AI
• Prototype next-generation algorithms, entropy models, and self-simulating frameworks
• Oversee development of our compiler, format standards, and zero-dependency tech stacks
• Translate speculative research into scalable tech infrastructure with measurable impact
• Establish rigorous, creative, and async-native R&D methods
• Lead the R&D Core team through vision, thought leadership, and decisive execution
• Recruit, align, and scale a world-class team of engineers, scientists etc.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in high-level research and engineering (CS, AI, cryptography, or systems design)
• Experience leading or co-architecting novel frameworks, languages, or protocols
• Mastery of abstract thinking: symbolic systems, formal logic, game theory, entropy, and cryptographic design
• Proven track record of shipping R&D outcomes into production-grade infrastructure or simulation tools
• Deep knowledge of compiler construction, systems programming, or next-gen AI architectures
• Demonstrated ability to scale and lead elite teams through clarity of vision, technical credibility, and decision-making under complexity
• Visionary mindset with a ruthless execution engine—zero-dependency, originality-first thinking
• Background in narrative computation, simulation AI, or mathematical aesthetics
