Job Title

TITLE:                                 Cloud Automation Architect

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Drive solutions that automate the cloud provisioning, continuous integration, and continuous delivery of microservices and monolith applications. Write code to deploy cloud functions or GitHub actions. Manipulate, merge and augment abstract deployment formats. Define the overall strategy and approach to fully automate application lifecycle and streamline operations. Coach team members regarding the best practices in automation and autoscaling. Embrace and extend the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (“CNCF”) solutions and build a Cloud Native approach to the infrastructure prioritizing self-healing, autoscaling, and disaster recovery.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving Cloud Automation engineering. Prior experience must include:3 years working with Unix based operating systems; 3 years programming in Python or GoLang; 3 years working with AWS or GCP; 3 years working with PaaS for major cloud providers; 3 years working with Network construct and Network security; 3 years working with DevOps, DevSecOps, and GitOps frameworks and practices; 3 years working with container orchestrators using Hashicorp Nomad or Kubernetes; 2 years developing Open Application Model (OAM), Radius, Helm, and GitHub functions for continuous delivery automation; 2 years developing using Hashicorp Vault and Hashicorp Terraform for infrastructure provisioning automation; 2 years of HAProxy traffic management; 2 years of internal development platform development using Backstage; 2 years working with Google Cloud Composer or Airflow; and 2 years defining and consuming APIs and Web Services.
