We are seeking a full time, entry level day shift Diesel Fleet Mechanic for our transportation group, CICKO Transportation. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
• Perform minor repairs on trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair wiring for lights
• Fix air leaks in braking systems
• Replace brake components including drums
• Change and rotate tires as needed
• Move trailers around the lot safely and efficiently
• Shuttle vehicles to and from dealerships or service locations
• Wash and detail trucks and trailers
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Previous experience in a shop or with vehicle maintenance is a plus, but not required
