Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week (not to exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week unless approved by management)
Shift Options:
6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (Day)
2:45 PM – 11:15 PM (Evening)
10:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Night)
Pay Rate: $40/hr
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to provide high-quality nutritional care within a skilled nursing or long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving resident well-being through individualized nutrition plans and evidence-based dietary practices.
Key Responsibilities:Assess residents’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
Monitor and evaluate residents’ dietary intake and overall nutritional status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including nursing and dietary staff, to ensure proper meal planning and delivery.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local dietary regulations and standards.
Document assessments, interventions, and progress notes accurately in the EMR system.
Provide education to staff and residents regarding nutrition and diet management.
Participate in care conferences and quality assurance programs.
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Nutritionist in the State of New Jersey.
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations.
Proficiency in Sigma Care EMR or similar electronic documentation systems.
Strong communication, assessment, and time management skills.
