About Pearmill

Pearmill is a boutique performance marketing agency specializing in Lifecycle Marketing, Social Media Management, and Paid Media strategies for innovative brands. We're currently seeking a talented Digital Marketing Copy Specialist to join our team on a contract basis to support our growing client portfolio.

Position Overview

As a Digital Marketing Copywriter, you'll craft compelling, conversion-focused copy across multiple channels including email, SMS, TikTok, Instagram, and other Paid and Organic Media platforms. You'll work directly with our creative and strategy teams to develop content that resonates with target audiences and drives measurable results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, brand-aligned copy for email campaigns, SMS messages, social media posts, and ads

• Work with different AI platforms to write and edit copy

• Write attention-grabbing headlines, subject lines, and calls-to-action that drive opens, clicks, and conversions

• Adapt messaging across platforms, understanding the nuances of each channel (email vs. TikTok vs. Instagram, paid vs. organic, etc.)

• Develop content that taps into trending topics, formats, and sounds on social platforms

• Support UGC (user-generated content) strategy by crafting prompts and guidelines for creators

• Translate technical product features into compelling benefits-focused messaging

• Collaborate with designers and strategists to ensure copy and visuals work harmoniously

• Contribute to A/B testing strategies to optimize message performance

• Research industry trends and competitor messaging to identify opportunities

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating copywriting skills across digital channels

• Understanding of direct response copywriting principles

• Familiarity with current social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram

• Ability and desire to collaborate with AI

• Experience writing for email marketing campaigns preferred

• Knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing metrics

• Excellent time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication skills and receptiveness to feedback

Hours & Compensation

• 10-15 hours per week, flexible scheduling

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

• Remote work with occasional team meetings
