This position will also lead small projects with cross-functional teams, working directly with customers, product management, engineering, supply chain management and manufacturing. **As an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager, you will:** + Provide technical assistance to Product Management, Technical Support and Manufacturing for the Primary and Room Sensor portfolios + Understand application needs and translate those into product requirements + Lead New Product Development projects for customer specific and general market projects. + Project manage small new development projects + Interface with local and global development teams and suppliers. + Proactively identify, document, and execute risk reduction activities to minimize Project Risks associated with Cost, Quality, and/or Timing that could negatively affect Project Plan achievement. Communicate these risks to the organization. + Work with Suppliers: Ensure that they meet Siemens' expectations for timing, cost, and quality in support of the Project Plan. **You'll make an impact with these qualifications:** Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or another related field + Technical experience with various sensor technologies such as pressure, temperature, power consumption, humidity etc. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or another related field with up to 5 years of related experience. + Verbal and written communication skills in English + Must be able to demonstrate: + Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly and fabrication for electro-mechanical devices and components. + Working knowledge of HVAC sensor technologies + Ability to use personal computers and software tools, working knowledge of Siemens PLM / TeamCenter and SAP are desirable + 5% travel may be required + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: + PMP and/or Agile certification + Working knowledge of SAP, TeamCenter, IBM Jazz + Experience in laboratory testing of sensors or other hands-on environments desirable **Join us today!** **About Siemens:** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
