Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (Home Health) to join our client's dedicated team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care directly in the home setting-empowering patients to recover, manage their conditions, and live more independently. The ideal candidate is a motivated, clinically proficient RN who thrives in an autonomous and flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer prescribed treatments and medications while monitoring patient progress
Educate patients and families on disease management, care procedures, and home safety
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Provide compassionate and professional support to patients and their families
Schedule and Shift Details
Monday through Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Flexible scheduling with minimal weekend requirements
On-call rotation every 4 8 weeks (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am 5:00pm)
This is a Pay Per Visit position
Travel
Local travel within the Harrisburg area (travel reimbursement provided)
Qualifications
Required
Associate degree or higher in Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum of 1 year of professional RN experience (home health preferred)
Current BLS or ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (training assistance available if needed)
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Preferred
Previous home health or community-based nursing experience
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
