Commercial HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician
Chattanooga’s leading Commercial HVAC Service Company has immediate openings for a full-time HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform, conduct, complete thorough preventative maintenance on all heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Range of Duties:
General duties include routine inspection, testing, cleaning and minor repair and/or adjustment of all types of HVAC equipment. Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies such as lubricants, filters, belts, etc. to ensure that they are always available when needed. Performing routine inspections of machinery to identify potential problems before they occur. Inspecting equipment for signs of wear such as leaks or cracks in pipes or gauges that indicate a need for repair. Coordinating with other departments regarding issues that may require their attention that may require additional attention and repairs. Complete preventative maintenance forms as provided and prepare reports.
Must have excellent communication and customer relations skills. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, successfully pass pre-placement drug screening, and a criminal background check.

Professional & interpersonal skills are required to properly represent our business to customers, vendors, and other contractors in an ethical and professional manner. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and communicate effectively. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, within a diverse team is very important.
Work standard M-F (8am-5pm).
Other duties as assigned. Wage commensurate with experience and certifications.
