Job Description

Industrial Maintenance Technician (Day Shift, Monday through Friday core schedule, occasional weekend support)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Woodridge, IL, 60517. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of industrial equipment, including Blow Molding Machines, Conveyor Systems, Industrial Robots, Palletizers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and more.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment such as Blow Molding Machines, Conveyor Systems, and Palletizers
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with industrial equipment
Diagnose and resolve problems with Industrial Automation Equipment
Troubleshoot and Repair High Speed Filling and Packaging Equipment.
Support all Production needs as necessary including operating equipment, relieving breaks and lunches, and leading and assisting on line changeovers.
Repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, water purification/filtration systems and other production equipment.
Continuous improvement in speed and accuracy of product changeovers and preventative maintenance plans.
Installation and troubleshooting of production equipment.
Follows all company policies and work rules including, but not limited to, housekeeping, GMP, PPE’s, SAP PM module, and quality systems.
Participates in the development and implementation of line improvements.
Other Duties as Required

Qualifications

Experience working with Blow Molding Machines, Conveyor Systems, Industrial Robots, Palletizers, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
Strong Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
Proficient in Mechanical Troubleshooting
Ability to troubleshoot Industrial Automation Equipment
Knowledge of PLC Troubleshooting Skills
