We are looking for a nature-loving, enthusiastic teaching assistant to support the lead teacher with two week-long Waldorf-inspired nature camps, and also to lead some of the camp activities. Each camp will have twelve children, a mix of 1st-5th graders and will be held at our butterfly sanctuary. If you love wildlife and would like to inspire that love in the children coming to our camp, we want to hear from you!
4 weeks this summer (Monday, July 14-Thursday, August 7) **Beginning and ending date are flexible (by a couple of days)
Experience with gardening.
Creative, organized and excited to be outdoors!
Experience working with children in an outdoor setting and leading hands-on activities.
A good work ethic with an ability to be flexible, and work as a team member.
Experience assisting a lead teacher.
