We are seeking a Locums Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide coverage in Torrington, CT, with availability particularly on Mondays and Fridays. This is a dynamic position requiring flexibility, as providers will split their day between two sites, and must be amenable to last-minute scheduling changes. Ideal candidates will be local to the area and able to travel at least 45 minutes as needed.
Compensation: $90 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
Provide walk-in urgent care for patients of all ages
Diagnose and treat common, non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses
Conduct physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe treatment
Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and I&Ds
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Travel between two nearby clinic locations as needed throughout the daytorringto
Requirements:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
Ability to see patients of all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics)
Must be willing to travel at least 45 minutes for shift coverage
Must be flexible with site assignments and schedule changes
Preference given to local providers
