Full-Time Electrical Technician (Maple Grove, MN)
This position for a full-time electrical technician is an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned business with a team of experts specializing in industrial machine repair. Our technicians travel to the customer’s location to troubleshoot and repair their machines. We offer our technicians a benefits package including medical, dental, short-term disability, and a 401k plan. We also provide uniforms, a company phone, and a company van to drive to customer’s location. Starting wage will depend on experience.
Requirement/Preference:
· Excellent customer service skills, oral and written.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical and some hydraulic problems. May include PLC and servo controlled electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic automated manufacturing machinery and equipment.
· Perform electrical wiring on installation of new or used component parts.
· Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic circuits and components.
· Knowledge of computer programs used to run industrial machinery is a plus.
· Read and understand electrical prints.
· Operate a fork lift.
· Have a good driving record.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
· Ownership of basic tools.
Working Experience:
Preferably with 2+ years of working experience in related field.
Academic Background:
Technical or college degree in electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, or hydraulic is desired but not required
