The Manager of Rehabilitation Services oversees pediatric therapy departments including physical, occupational, speech, and therapeutic recreation, managing clinical, administrative, and financial operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, staff management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The position requires clinical expertise, leadership experience, and relevant state licensure to support patient-centered care within a large healthcare system.
Description
Responsible for the overall system management of the pediatric therapy service departments (PT, OT, SP and TR) including clinical, administrative and financial operations. Establishes standards of care and therapy practice and monitors for compliance. Assures compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. Responsible for staffing, retention and employee satisfaction. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and competencies associated with patient care and satisfaction. Ensures participation and satisfaction of all stakeholders. Collaborates with therapy resources to perform PDSA, quality improvement and other educational improvement events.
