Description Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Specialist to join our client's Medical Records Department. This temp-to-hire position is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established healthcare organization and make a difference in the day-to-day administrative functions of their team. Key Responsibilities: + Accurately organize and manage patient medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations. + Assist with administrative tasks within the Medical Records Department or Doctor's Office, such as handling patient data, filing, and verifying documentation. + Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations. + Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain documentation and update files as needed. Requirements + Prior experience in Medical Records or Doctor's Office Administration required. + Familiarity with one or more EMR systems such as Homecare Homebase (HCHB), Epic, or Allscripts strongly preferred. + Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information. + Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
