Mortgage Loan Officer

Plano, TX (On-site)

$28.85/hr (with potential for a baseline incentive during the first six months)

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to join our centralized lending team. In this role, you will be a crucial point of contact for new and existing clients, providing expert guidance on a variety of lending solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to leverage their mortgage and sales experience in a high-volume, dynamic call center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation & Sales: Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist clients in determining the best financing solutions for home purchases, refinances, or new home equity lines of credit. Analyze clients' financial goals, identify optimal lending products, and submit mortgage applications.

  • Process Management: Guide clients through the entire mortgage loan process, from gathering documentation to keeping them informed with consistent communication. Work independently with business partners to resolve issues and expedite the post-sale process.

  • Compliance: Maintain a commitment to professional ethics and comply with all federal and state lending regulations and due diligence.

  • Relationship Building: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell other banking products through partner referrals, ensuring a comprehensive, one-team approach to client care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in sales and mortgage lending.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and deepen client relationships with a strong client care mentality.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the confidence to engage clients over the phone.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage high volumes, and prioritize multiple competing tasks.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple technology platforms.

  • This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, and you must be able to obtain and maintain this registration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a contact center environment.

  • Knowledge of various loan products, including Conventional, Jumbo, and Government loans.

  • Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines.

  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data
