A professional couple in Bellaire is seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for their two young children—a newborn and a preschooler. Since the preschooler attends full-day school, the nanny’s primary focus will be on the newborn, with additional responsibilities for the older child when he is home from school. The ideal candidate is attentive, responsive, and passionate about fostering healthy physical, emotional, and social development. A background in age-appropriate engagement, play-based learning, and respectful caregiving will be a great fit for this role. This is a Jewish family, and they are seeking a nanny who can respectfully support their values and cultural traditions throughout the day. While the home is maintained by a housekeeper—so no deep cleaning is required—the nanny should be comfortable tending to all tasks related to the children and light housekeeping. The candidate should also be open to providing guidance to the parents as the children grow. The family has a pool, so strong swimming skills are essential. While not required, bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are encouraged to apply. COVID vaccination and other standard vaccinations is mandatory for this role. Due to the sensitive nature of the position, the nanny should always practice discretion. This job has a September start date.
