Job Description
The NCLEX Success Coach is a critical member of the nursing academic team, responsible for the strategic integration and application of ATI resources to support student success across all phases of the nursing curriculum. This role promotes a culture of continuous improvement by partnering with faculty and students to enhance NCLEX outcomes through structured interventions, academic support, and effective use of assessment tools. The NCLEX Success Coach will also facilitate workshops, create and monitor individualized remediation plans, and guide students to achieve NCLEX readiness.
Essential Functions:
- Reconcile, manage, and monitor ATI accounts for all active nursing cohorts.
- Provide NCLEX-aligned conceptual study guides tailored to individual courses.
- Design and deliver workshops focused on test-taking strategies and effective study habits.
- Collaborate with faculty to implement ATI resources in classroom and clinical settings.
- Develop, coordinate, and oversee student remediation plans to ensure measurable progress and NCLEX readiness.
- Conduct and track remediation workshops and tutorials aimed at improving student performance.
- Facilitate implementation and oversight of ATI Capstone and Virtual ATI programs.
- Monitor and support students in reaching the Virtual ATI “Green Light” benchmark.
- Provide individualized and group academic support to students in need.
- Effectively deliver instruction as needed using provided syllabi and educational materials.
- Engage in continuous collaboration with faculty and administrators to improve NCLEX pass rates and overall academic outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- Minimum one (1) year teaching experience in a pre- or post-licensure nursing program (associate, baccalaureate, or graduate level).
- Minimum four (4) years of full-time direct patient care experience in medical-surgical nursing within the last five (5) years, or equivalent as determined by the BRN.
- Demonstrated experience in student learning outcomes assessment and academic remediation.
- Proficient in interpreting ATI data, developing focused review plans, and guiding students toward NCLEX success.
- $85,000-$115,000/yr. Salary is dependent on experience and education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience delivering active learning strategies in classroom and clinical environments.
- Familiarity with the full suite of ATI products and NCLEX test plans.
- Proven ability to support at-risk students and improve performance outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be available five (5) days per week at one of the four (4) campus locations .
- This is not a hybrid or remote position ; on-campus presence is required.

- Ability to understand voices over the telephone and in person.
- Able to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing between 10-25 pounds as needed.
