Description
Our client is seeking a Payroll Clerk for a contract-to-hire position around San Jose. The ideal candidate will already have some light exposure to payroll and can start immediately.
What We're Expecting:
+ Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data into spreadsheets and payroll system
+ Work closely with the payroll department to enter in timesheets, and following up with internal employees to clarify timesheet inquiries
+ Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees, prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports
+ File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required
+ Prepare all reports and paperwork to process payroll in an efficient manner.
Requirements
+ One or more years' experience in payroll processing or filing
+ Experience with ADP Workforce Now a huge plus
+ Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
