River Road Early Learning Center is hiring a reliable, passionate, caring, and motivated individual to be a teacher in a preschool classroom. RRELC is a wonderful community full of engaged families, teachers and administration.

Preschool Teacher Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Facilitate social and emotional development through positive interactions.
• Organize and participate in activities that promote physical, mental, and social development.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and health standards are maintained.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s activities and progress.
• Encourage children to develop sharing, problem-solving, and cooperative learning skills.
• Plan and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
• Mentor and guide assistant teachers.
• Implement classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Coordinate with other preschool staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDA or an Associate's degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Experience in an early childhood education setting.
• CPR.
