Job Description

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Product Development, Manager for  our client located in Tallahassee, FL.

This position is on-site in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. 

Job Overview:

  • Support the OIT in a multiyear effort in the management of the Division of Consumer Services’(Division) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Solution.
  • The Product Development Manager will lead the strategic development and delivery of technical solutions that align with the Department’s goals by partnering closely with both the Division and the OIT
  • Leverage IT systems expertise to identify automation opportunities, improve processes, and translate business needs into clear product strategies and functional specifications.
  • This role requires the ability to assess current workflows, drive business process innovation, and translate high-level business needs into actionable product roadmaps and functional specifications.
  • The Product Development Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across divisions to ensure solutions are usercentric, scalable, and aligned with organizational priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of high-tech industry, product engineering and/or IT work experience including experience with managing team(s) responsible for software, hardware design, engineering and development functions.
  • Experience managing research and developing activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products.
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluating product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization.
  • Experience assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Experience acting as a technical consultant to the product organization, leading research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
  • Experience ensuring the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
  • Experience acting as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements.
  • Experience leading major releases, ensuring feature enhancements, and responding to customer requests.
  • Experience in Product delivery, managing schedules, and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
