Job Title: Project Manager Healthcare IT

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong healthcare IT background to lead projects involving HL7 messaging standards, NIST compliance, and healthcare client billing systems . The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing healthcare technology projects, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT projects involving HL7 integrations, NIST standards, and billing systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including healthcare providers, payers, billing teams, and technical vendors .
• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery .
• Oversee integration of HL7 standards with EMR/EHR, claims processing, and billing applications.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards .
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve interoperability issues between healthcare systems.
• Manage client billing workflows and support implementation of automated billing solutions.
• Track project risks, dependencies, and issues; provide mitigation strategies.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, prepare project documentation, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Work with QA and compliance teams to ensure healthcare data accuracy, privacy, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience in project management within the Healthcare IT domain .
• Strong knowledge of HL7 standards, CDA, FHIR , and healthcare interoperability.
• Understanding of NIST compliance frameworks and healthcare security requirements.
• Experience in healthcare client billing systems, claims processing, and revenue cycle management (RCM) .
• Proven track record of delivering complex healthcare IT projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills .
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and regulatory compliance in healthcare.
• Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent).
