Job Description

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

As a Safety Coordinator positio at Garney Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring safety is the number one priority on our water and sewer pipeline projects.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Review, implement, and assist on safety regulations and standards to project management and field personnel.
  • Conduct safety training for job site personnel.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazard.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related degree preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
  • Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred
  • Willing to travel and or relocate.
