We’re seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator to help manage and strengthen company-wide safety programs across our subsidiaries— State Systems, LLC (Memphis, TN) and Integrity Fire Safety Services (Denver, CO) .
The Safety Coordinator supports all aspects of our safety and compliance programs to ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in protecting employees, customers, and job sites by conducting inspections, coordinating training, and assisting with reporting and incident prevention efforts.
Conduct site visits to observe and document safety practices at various job locations.
Inspect personnel, equipment, and materials for compliance with regulations.
Support incident investigations , identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and deliver employee safety training programs.
Maintain safety records, reports, and insurance claim documentation.
Track and report safety performance metrics and trends.
Research safety regulations and assist in updating policies and procedures.
Coordinate applications for permits and other regulatory requirements.
Travel to branch offices and project sites (~25%) to provide hands-on support.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of safety or compliance experience (construction or industrial services preferred).
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and general workplace safety standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Attention to Detail: Thorough in inspections and documentation.
Problem-Solving: Identifies hazards and recommends effective solutions.
Communication: Clearly delivers safety training and feedback.
Teamwork: Works collaboratively to promote a safe workplace.
Dependability: Organized, accountable, and consistent in follow-through.
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and kneeling.
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to outdoor weather, heights, chemicals, and moderate noise.
Regional travel by car and plane required (~25%).
