The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is currently seeking a dedicated, flexible, and service orientated individual to be our Security Manager! The Security Manager is responsible for leading the safety and security operations the hotel. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring a secure, welcoming environment for our guests and team members. **Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Oversee all aspects of hotel safety and security, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies + Respond promptly and effectively to guest and employee emergencies, incidents, and safety concerns + Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports, maintaining accurate records + Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a team of security personnel + Manager Loss Prevention + Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate safety and emergency response protocols + Serve as a property ambassador for our hotel's Safety Committee + Collaborate with hotel leadership to enhance the guest experience through visible security presence and customer service initiatives + Create and manage departmental schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency + Oversee payroll and timekeeping for the security team Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards.
