Position Title: Site Manager Reports To: Assistant Facilities Manager – Sites Position Summary: Under the direction of the Assistant Facilities Manager – Sites, the Site Manager will be responsible for the overall functionality and operability of assigned jobsites. This may include mobilization, demobilization, patrolling of jobsites to maintain security of company assets, and coordinating movement of company supplies and equipment. May be tasked from time to time to execute tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager.

- Communicates regularly with Superintendents, Managers & Supervisors about the different divisions and jobsite issues
- Consistently be on time for work, meetings and appointments and deliver work projects by assigned due dates
- Maintain assigned work areas in a clean and orderly fashion
- Patrol Production’s work areas in alignment with 5S standards
- Maintain and ensure the safety and compliance of all material handling equipment
- Meet productivity goals and quality standards as set by management
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Read, understand, and comply with company policies, and procedures at all times
- Control/monitor vehicle and pedestrian access to job site
- Maintain security of company assets and employees on site
- Ensure that laydown plans are followed and maintained at all job sites
- Attend morning “plan of the day” meetings to properly support daily Production operations
- Safely operate material handling equipment to move materials and supplies as necessary
- Maintain awareness of company supplies and equipment
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of job sites for efficient functionality. Embrace the 5S methodology to “Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain”
- Strive for continuous improvement in all facets of your role
- Proactively engage with Production and Projects staff to ensure their needs are fulfilled
- Execute tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager – Sites
- Facilitate logistics with PSI Trucking Coordinator and with subcontractors
Qualifications/Requirements: - Basic understanding of or ability to quickly understand each job site to be managed
- Ability to maintain and submit job site & delivery records
- Ability to establish and maintain Standard Operating Guides for all tasks/functions executed by you and your staff
- Ability to understand work specifications and technical references
- Ability to obtain OSHA required certifications to operate a wide variety of industrial equipment which includes but is not limited to class 5 & 7 forklifts, and a variety of manlifts
- Willingness to assist wherever possible even when tasks fall outside of your area of primary area of responsibility or expertise
- Implement and maintain systems of accountability for all staff
Education/Training: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience managing job sites of similar size/scale
- Shipyard/Industrial experience valuable
- Scheduling or planning experience desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer, as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment
- Must be able to safely operate a wide variety of industrial equipment including but not limited to class 5 & 7 forklifts, and a variety of manlifts.
Additional Information: - Must show proof of your legal right to work in the United States
- This position requires US Citizenship due to clearance required for base access
- Must be able to successfully obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Must be able to successfully obtain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) to access military installations
- All candidates must submit to and pass a post-offer drug screening and a background check before employment begins. Failure to complete any of these steps will result in disqualification
- Valid State of Hawaii REAL ID-Compliant Drivers’ License in good standing or a valid U.S. Passport in addition to a valid Hawaii Driver’s License, if you do not have a REAL ID-Compliant Driver’s License
- Candidates must have access to reliable transportation to get to work and other job sites on time
