Spanish Teacher – Part Time

Compensation & Schedule
• $25–$31 per hour depending on experience
• Part time 10 hours per week
• W2
• Paid semi-monthly on the 15th and 30th
ROLE IMPACT
Support a Christian private school community by delivering enriching Spanish language instruction to K–6th grade students. This flexible part-time role is ideal for educators seeking consistent weekly hours with the ability to align schedules around other commitments, while still making a meaningful impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead dynamic Spanish lessons that engage young learners in grades K–6
• Foster a welcoming classroom that reflects Christian values and encourages student participation
• Collaborate with school leaders and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Assist with planning school enrichment programs and special events
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience teaching or working with elementary-age children
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with classroom setup
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Google Classroom or similar LMS (training available)
• Parent communication tools including email and video platforms
• Basic attendance and grading software
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Classroom or camp experience leading group activities
• Available for 10 hours per week based on school needs
• Interest in pursuing teaching certification (5% pay increase upon completion)
