As the Forklift Operator of McLane Global, you will use a stand-up reach truck and an electric pallet jack to unload trucks in a quick, safe, and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for putting products away into racking, assisting on special projects, and loading outbound trucks. This role will be critical in providing world-class service to our clients and to the daily performance of the warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate stand-up reach trucks and electric pallet jacks Perform daily functions of loading/unloading trucks, put away, picking, and packing Ability to use basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplying Document damages, overages and shortages according to company guidelines Ensure accurate order numbers and correct shipping labels are included on each pallet Perform cycle counts as assigned Maintain cleanliness in and around the warehouse Assist in all aspects of the business All other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum experience of 1-year operating stand-up reach trucks and electric jacks Ability to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to be on feet on cement floors for long periods of time Must be safety conscience and operate equipment in a safe manner Must be willing to work in a team environment Able to demonstrate problem solving skills in high-stress situations Must be flexible to schedule changes Must have basic math skills Ability to work independently with general supervision Able to read, write and speak English Benefits ~ Competitive base compensation ~ Full Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision effective on the first day of employment ~401(k) with Employer Match (quarterly enrollment) ~ Paid Holidays (no waiting period to receive holiday pay) ~ Paid vacation, personal, and sick days effective on first day of employment ~ All offers are contingent upon passing a background check and drug screening   ~ No company visa sponsorships     ~ No phone call or walk in inquiries for this position, apply online to be considered   Disclaimer Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and if requested, reasonable accommodation will be provided to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship.     Furthermore, job descriptions typically change over time as requirements and employee skill levels change.
