Amentum is seeking a dedicated results-oriented individual to support NSWC Dahlgren H20. **Test Engineer Responsibilities:** + Write and execute test cases that will exercise both the SQQ-89 system as well as its external interfaces including but not limited to AWS, VLS, TSP, and Radar + Document issues observed with SQQ-89 and its external interfaces with clear descriptions and steps to reproduce. + Review system documentation and requirements and provide technical input to the Systems Engineering team. + Review issues from the Fleet Support team and re-create the issue in the lab for further analysis. + Witness installing the SQQ-89 system ensuring the SVD is following and providing redlined changes as needed. + Work with the system Integrator's automated test team to design automated test scripts + Travel approximately 10% of the time + Work onsite at Lockheed Martin, Manassas VA **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline with three (3) years of systems engineering or systems test experience for real-time weapons systems, combat systems, or fire control systems or + US Naval operational experience in a combat systems rate at the E6 level or higher with two (2) years of systems engineering or + Five (5) years of systems engineering or systems test experience with real-time weapons systems, combat systems, or fire control systems. + Must have an active Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. **Desired Qualifications:** + Systems test experience for real-time weapons systems, combat systems, or fire control systems + Experience with performing test activities including developer/capability level testing, functional level testing (FQT/Verification and Validation), software/system integration testing, or AEGIS combat systems integration land-based testing. + Using simulators in a test environment Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
