Note from hiring manager:

• 4 5 years of hands-on experience in a design organization as an Individual Contributor (ideally in an enterprise setting)
• Preferably with B2B product experience
• Strong technical Design Systems skills: Atomic Design, Figma Tokens/Components, Accessibility
• Strong understanding of Design System Strategy, Developer Collaboration & Handoff processes
• Able to build and showcase production-grade, high-fidelity prototypes
• Responsive design experience
• Nice to have: background in financial services domain

Job Description:

• They are looking for a strong design leader with a solid background in payments and finance.
• Preferably someone who has worked deeply on multiple application for 2 3+ years with strong ownership of UI/UX.
• The role is expected to be a hands-on individual contributor, not just a manager.
• They need a Design System (DS) lead who can build and scale the system-junior/mid level designers are available for execution. They have built some components on fly.
• The ideal candidate should be able to:
  • Build low-fidelity wireframes
  • Convert them into modern, high-fidelity, responsive UI designs
• Availability to work Eastern or Central Time zones is preferred, as most of their team is in EST.
• The person will also be expected to manage other UI designers.
• The existing Design System is underdeveloped, and they are behind schedule on delivering high-fidelity mockups.
• There is a large volume of screens that still need to be designed.
• Expertise in responsive, high-fidelity UI design is essential.
• User research is not a focus-they clearly mentioned it's not needed for this role
