Job Description

Sea Fox Boats is looking for an  Industrial Sewer / Seamstress that will be responsible for creating quality cushions for our premium saltwater boats. This involves cutting, measuring, sewing, ensuring the efficient manufacturing process of marine upholstery which includes fabricating, repairing and replacing upholstery as well as complete set building duties. We are a very close-knit company and you will be working in a family oriented environment.

What you will do:

• Sewing machine setup (changing thread, bobbins, and needles as needed.)
• Single needle prepping and joining
• Create and cut patterns
• Inspect cushions for defects, damage, or stains
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

To be considered you must have:

• Industrial sewing and or home sewing experience of one or more years required, must be able to pass sewing test
• Must be able to make and read patterns and able to work with leather, vinyl and foam rubber
• Knowledgeable in the areas of material cutting, sewing, upholstery, and foam assembly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Advanced verbal communication skills
• Advanced time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience sewing vinyl or leather  in a fast paced manufacturing facility
• PROTOTYPING EXPERIENCE is a plus
