Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Sterling, Virginia. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring an excellent customer experience. You will handle a variety of administrative and communication tasks to support daily operations. You will be working every Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and detail-oriented manner. - Manage and operate a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments. - Answer inbound calls and address inquiries or route them accordingly. - Maintain an organized reception area to create a welcoming atmosphere. - Provide general administrative support, including managing schedules and appointments. - Ensure prompt and accurate communication between departments through efficient switchboard operations. - Handle part-time receptionist duties as required, ensuring flexibility in scheduling. - Assist with basic clerical tasks, such as data entry and document filing. - Monitor and respond to emails or messages directed to the reception desk. Requirements - Prior experience in receptionist or front desk roles. - Strong using Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to handle inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency. - Familiarity with basic administrative and clerical tasks. - Demonstrated ability to maintain an organized and welcoming reception area. - Flexibility to work part-time hours on Saturdays. - High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
