Work Location: Assigned Store

Working Hours: This position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Weekly hours will vary depending on business needs.

Job Summary: The C-Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant manager(s).

Job Duties and Responsibilities: This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe all tasks that may be assigned.

Adhere to the Company's established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Responsible for the store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.

Recruit, train, coach and develop positive individuals to become members of the team, ensuring excellent customer service.

Schedule and manage labor hours to align with customer traffic patterns and SLM (Store Labor Model) targets.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to staff.

Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures through the Customer Ready Book to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.

Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner.

Ensure all product orders are placed accurately and on schedule to maintain proper in-stock levels and meet customer demand.

Supervise and discipline all store employees according to company policy.

Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and sending price surveys in a timely manner as established by management.

Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management.

Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive offs daily.

Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify trends.

Implement Monthly promotions, ensure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time.

Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to the Price Book Administrator.

Enforce all Safety and Security Issues and report all unsafe conditions and all incidents or accidents following company procedure.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: An ideal candidate will have experience with or understanding of:

Have the physical ability to perform all duties of a store C-Store Team Member regularly.

Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations.

Good leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Education and Experience: An Ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

C Store and/or retail manager experience

Working environment and physical requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

Travel: Must be able to travel up to 10%.
