Every Marine count on intelligence that is timely, accurate, and trusted. At the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), geospatial intelligence is more than just data—it’s the lens through which Marines see the battlespace clearly and act decisively.

This is your chance to serve as a subject matter expert and hands-on technical authority within this mission-critical environment as the GIS Technical Lead. You’ll be part of the team that keeps MCIA’s geospatial capabilities sharp, reliable, and ready for any mission. Bringing deep ESRI expertise, a hands-on approach, and a focus on practical solutions that make production and dissemination faster, smarter, and more consistent across the enterprise. You’ll work directly with analysts, developers, and database administrators across multiple classified networks to strengthen and streamline how MCIA delivers geospatial intelligence to the force. From designing workflows to building custom tools, you’ll help ensure that when Marines need information, it’s there, and it’s accurate.

Requirements

• Current active Top Secret / SCI clearance
• You have achieved the accomplishment of a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
• Security+ Certification
• ESRI Desktop or Pro Certification
• 5+ years of experience working with GIS applications in order to lead production, build workflows, and troubleshoot complex issues for mission efficiency.
• You’ve gained deep familiarity with ESRI software in order to design, implement, and optimize geospatial solutions.
