Salary: $67,600 - 122,200 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent education in trajectory analysis.
• Strong grasp of flight mechanics/dynamics and simulation of aerospace vehicles.
• A solid foundation in statistical/probabilistic analysis.
• Familiarity with the creation and optimization of 3-DOF and/or 6-DOF trajectory simulation models.
• Experience with trajectory analysis tools such as POST, OTIS, TTK, RRAT, TAOS, STK Astrogator, or Copernicus.
• Knowledge of Monte Carlo (and/or probabilistic analyses) routines and data analysis.
• An ability to critically assess situations, evaluate complex systems, and navigate detailed requirements.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset for working in a team-oriented environment.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure mission safety and success.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a minimum of DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of our team, you will support the Lead Trajectory Analyst with:
• Developing and optimizing 3-DOF and/or 6-DOF trajectory simulation models.
• Creating Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for integration with mission operations and flight software.
• Performing engineering approximations related to performance.
• Conducting Monte Carlo (and/or probabilistic analyses) routines and data evaluations to inform mission authorities about off-nominal trajectories, which include range safety, circular error probability, and expected casualty.
• Providing Systems Engineering with enhancements to balance performance and safety while adhering to critical system constraints.
