Source and procure spare parts for industrial generators, ensuring optimal inventory levels and cost effectiveness

Job Description

• Source and procure spare parts for industrial generators, ensuring optimal inventory levels and cost effectiveness
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Create and process purchase orders
• Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to understand technical specifications and urgent requirements
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and delivery compliance
• Identify alternative sources for hard-to-find parts
• Manage inventory levels
• Investigate company spending
• Elaborate proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes in their own field
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered
• Contributes to project as a team member

Skills Required

• 2-5 years of experience (Would consider recent graduate with recent internship)
• General manufacturing experience
• English-proficient. Ability to communicate effectively
• Outside-the-box thinker
• Tools or Software: No specific systems - new ERP systems in the works

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

• Limited travel, as the business requires. Could be global and domestic travel
• Work Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Business hours

Pay Rate/Salary

• $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
