Staff Accountant – Hiring January 2026 

$50,000 - $65,000

Philadelphia PA

Liberty Personnel is working with a growing real estate property management client adding a Staff Accountant to their team.

Summary

Responsible for reconciliation of bank statements and cash receipts; analysis of the general and prepare reports for senior management. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare  financial statements/reporting packages for assigned property portfolio
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the GL accounts 
• Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger 
• Prepare bank deposits and monitor cash balances 
• Assist with preparation of annual operating budgets 
• Manage invoicing; reconcile POs with receipts, reconcile invoices & post invoices for payment
• Record journal entries and reconcile sub-ledgers to the GL
• Perform the monthly closing
• Assist with audits; documentation and explanations of financials
• Provide financial insights and support for strategic planning

• Assist in the preparation of budgets

Experience

• BS in Accounting is preferred
• A/R, A/P, G/L experience is preferred
• Accounting software skills, Yardi is preferred
• Real Estate industry experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
