Job Description

The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We're looking for a Steward to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens. Every day is different, but you'll mostly be: ● Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment ● Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators ● Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen ● Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing ● Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes ● Role available as Part time or Casual dependant on availablity and candidate What We need from you: ● Avilability to work across different days and times: Morning shifts as early as 6:00am and or late shifts finishing at 1:00am ● Passion for delivering great service ● Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Attendant or Prep Chef is helpful but not necessary ● Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines is helpful but not necessary ● Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team ● Full Australian Working Rights What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
