Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Transcriber to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Transcriber, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing audio and video recordings into written documents. You will work closely with our clients to understand their transcription needs and deliver high-quality transcriptions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Listen to audio and video recordings and transcribe them into written documents
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in transcribing
- Follow guidelines and formatting requirements provided by clients
- Meet deadlines for completing transcriptions
- Communicate with clients to understand their transcription needs and provide updates on progress
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all transcribed materials
- Use transcription software and equipment as needed
- Collaborate with team members to improve transcription processes and quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Transcriber or similar role
- Excellent listening and typing skills
- Strong command of English language and grammar
- Familiarity with transcription software and equipment
- Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
- Flexible schedule and ability to work remotely
